The project reimagines Lincoln’s Crown House as a modern holistic wellness facility with an emphasis on mental, physical, and preventative health. The concept addresses rising stress levels, sedentary lives, burnout, and the dearth of easily accessible preventative wellness spaces in urban areas. The structure creates a carefully planned trip that promotes both physical and psychological rehabilitation by combining hydrotherapy, thermal experiences, sensory recovery areas, and biophilic architecture.
Hydrotherapy pools, resistance pools, contrast therapy pools, cold immersion baths, infrared wellness suites, flotation therapy areas, recovery lounges, social wellness areas, changing facilities, and integrated plant/service spaces are all part of the
concept. The plan turns the current structure into a healing sanctuary that invites people to relax and slow down from life in the city, re-establish a connection with their physical bodies, and engage in long-term wellbeing practices.
